Metric Automotive Engineering has released Caterpillar® C9, C13 and C15 crankshafts from IPD into the local aftermarket. This follows on from IDP’s successful crankshafts for older generation Cat® engines such as the 3306, 3406 and 3408. Metric Automotive Engineering has made the latest Multilayer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket sets for Caterpillar® C13 engines from IPD available to the local rebuild market. The MLS construction features a graphite mating surface treatment. It comprises a heavy-duty, high-temperature steel graphite head gasket bonded mechanically to a perforated steel core. (more…)
