As part of a global roadshow, Stanley Black & Decker Inc. hosted a customer experience event at the Hyatt in Rosebank, Johannesburg on 4 May to launch three new tool brands and to explore the parent company as well as other brands in the stable.
The key brands on display were Stanley, Black+Decker, Dewalt, Facom, Expert, Lenox and Irwin.
Lenox and Irwin are new brands to Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) after it acquired Newell Tools towards the end of last year and were launched in South Africa along with Facom and its subsidiary brand Expert at this event.

Lenox and Irwin has built its legacy by leveraging product and manufacturing innovation to help professionals separate themselves from the pack. Irwin and Lenox tools focuses on drilling, straight saw blades, band saw blades, pliers, holding tools, circular saw blades, cutting tools as well as other hand tools.
Stanley Black & Decker said that Irwin and Lenox are highly attractive, due to their strong brands, complementary products, and new channels.
